Our Team

Jeff Latov

Jeff Latov, Esq.

Jeff leads the legal side of Courtside. Prior to starting his own practice, Latov Advisory LLC, he spent ten years at a large New York law firm, where his work covered corporate transactions, restructuring, and litigation. He now serves as general counsel to an investment firm with more than $1 billion in invested capital and to a developer of amenitized golf resorts and master-planned communities. He is a member of the advisory board of the Padel Risk Management Association.

Jeff holds a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a B.A. from the University of Richmond. He is admitted to practice in New York.

Chadwick Buckner

Chadwick Buckner, Esq.

Chadwick Buckner is a tax attorney and partner at Courtside Advisory, where he leads tax strategy and business structuring for padel, pickleball and tennis clubs. Throughout his career, he served as a U.S. Army infantry captain, worked as a Cook County prosecutor and civil litigator, and led growth on a Fortune 100 account as a Business Development Executive at Accenture.

He now brings his expertise to club owners, helping them structure their business, buildout and finances, so everything holds up under review by a lender, investor, auditor or future buyer. He is completing an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law (Spring 2027) and is admitted to practice law in Illinois. Chadwick is based in Miami, where he plays padel.

Eugene Podokshik

Eugene Podokshik, CPCU, CRIS, TRA

Eugene Podokshik is a former risk manager and insurance broker with experience helping organizations understand, finance, and transfer risk. Through that work, he saw firsthand how often businesses carry significant exposures without fully understanding them, especially in fast-growing and operationally complex environments.

Recognizing the rapid growth of padel and the need for stronger education in this area, Eugene founded the Padel Risk Management Association to help facilities become more informed, more prepared, and more resilient.

His goal is to make risk management more accessible to the people making day-to-day decisions inside padel clubs, from facility managers to finance leaders to owners and operators.

Our Network of Lawyers and Specialists
